Course Overview


This training shares a general overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder, it's prevalence, and how families can be supported along the process of getting a diagnosis and adjusting their family to support their child.


Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will gain an understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and statistics around the prevalence of ASD.
  • Participants will gain an understanding of the different models of treatment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Participants will gain an understanding of the screening and diagnosing process for children who are suspected to have autism spectrum disorder.
