Summary
Utilizes the social-emotional milestones from the ASQ-3 and ASQ- SE-2 to illustrate expected behaviors in children birth to three to identify typical behaviors in development that arise due to develop milestones and how strategies to assist addressing unwanted behaviors based on developmental level.
Learning Objectives
1. Learner will be able to discern if an unwanted behavior is due the milestones child has mastered in development.
2. Learner will be able to assist child in learning appropriate behavior based on the child's stage of development.
3. Learner will gain helpful strategies to address common difficult behaviors and the process of obtaining additional assistance from outside sources to manage behavior
